Starting the Swallowtail Shawl

Well after finishing the Mother's day gift, I ventured onto the Swallowtail Shawl
I am using Lacey Lamb that I purchased from my LYS which is a lace weight 100% extrafine wool, feels like cashmere, so soft, its super thin but unfortunately splits alot. I have had some very aggrevating times with this knit, I somehow manage to miss yarn overs and end up spending 20 mintues trying to fix my mistake and in the end getting no where

Im not sure if I may need to add more repeats on the end, In this picture I am in the middle of repeat #7 out of 14.

I cant wait to finish and block, Im most excited about blocking, so hopefully I can finish this and wont put it down

I have all intentions of making this for my grandma, this is why I chose the bright pink color, if It was for me I would of chosen the grassy green color that was at the store.

My Grandma is the queen of all craftsters to me and I get a lot of my inspiration from her, She can crochet anything for miles in no time, she can sew anything, she can paint anything, draw anything, create anything with clay, and best of all play any instrument, I remember growing up with her and she always had tons of crafty stuff in her place, everywhere. She is totally amazing and I cant wait to finish this for her to show her how much I am in awe of her and hopefully show off my new found talent to her.
